Karen Van Niekerk is the Chairperson. The greatest hiccup in the past was insufficient communication between the Master and the public. The Master is trying to improve his service delivery by implementing training programs for employees. A Docu-file system has been implemented and the aim is to achieve delivery of a file within a period of 1 day to access information. Mr. BC Nel has retired as the Master of Pretoria on 31 May 2010, and no acting Master has been appointed yet. The Master’s Office will be moving from the Sanlam building to the Salu building during August 2010. The Master is positive that the new offices will ensure better service delivery and more sufficient technology.
