WINGATE PARK COUNTRY CLUB

On the chilly morning of the 15th of April, Wingate Park Country Club was bustling with activity as the Pretoria Attorneys Association hosted a fun run/walk to support Wollies Animal Shelter. The event raised awareness and funds for the shelter’s mission to sterilize and care for animals until they find their forever homes. Despite the cold weather, the event was filled with energy and excitement, with participants of all ages coming together to support a great cause.

Before the start of the event, Wollies brought a few dogs to socialise with the attendees.

The dogs even participated in the 4km fun run, it was heart- warming to see so many furry friends wagging their tails with excitement. While most humans walked, the dogs ran around enthusiastically.

After the event, the participants were treated to delicious boerewors rolls that were generously sponsored by WFB Attorneys Inc.

The event was a roaring success due in no small part to the event’s sponsors. At the halfway point of the fun run, VZLR Attorneys were kind enough to sponsor and hand the participants a bottle of water. Life Medi ensured that their paramedics and ambulance were prepared to provide medical assistance in the event of an emergency. Cost Consulting provided the participants with cold drinks and chocolate at the finish line.

The turnout was incredible thanks to the sponsors and all the attendees who came out to support the fun run!
