THE HOLLARD COURT BONDS – PAA GOLF EVENT
Held at Sun City on 13 August 2022
“Bigger and Better”
This was the second Golf Day to be hosted by the PAA at Sun City. After the unprecedented success of the inaugural Golf Day, The Executive Committee of the PAA made a very conscious decision to make the Event Bigger and Better. With the generous assistance of all of our Sponsors, we achieved something much bigger and better. We started by using BOTH the Gary Player Golf Course and the Lost City Golf Course. This not only enabled us to host more golfers but also made it possible for golfers of all abilities to participate.
Secondly, we realised that most of the golfers (and their partners and spouses) arrive at Sun City on the Friday afternoon, so we hosted a Welcome Event on the Sun Terrace on the Friday Evening. Great Food, great Drinks and Great People made this experience one that is not to be missed and an essential part of the Golf Event.
After golf on the Saturday, the PAA hosted everyone at the Shebeen at Sun City to watch the rugby (Springboks vs All Blacks). Not a great result for SA but what an atmosphere our golfers created! The Prize Giving and Dinner followed at the Shebeen and a good time was had by all.
Will it be even bigger and better in 2023? Absolutely! Watch this space!
